Seizures are a less common but potentially severe symptom of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. These seizures can range from mild, such as brief episodes of muscle twitching, to severe, such as convulsions or loss of consciousness.
Seizures in CJD patients can be unpredictable and may require treatment with anti-seizure medications to manage their frequency and severity.
