3. Nausea and Vomiting
Nausea is a very frequent concussion symptom. It can be triggered either by the injury itself, or by the pain that comes with the trauma, caused by a chemical imbalance. It will normally go away after full recovery. However, if you experience persistent nausea after a blow and you haven’t been treated for a concussion, it is important to consult a specialist.
Vomiting is also common after a head trauma, and it is normally connected to nausea and associated with the imbalance of neurotransmitters caused by the concussion.
