4. Dizziness
Being dizzy often comes together with confusion and nausea. Dizziness can be particularly apparent when standing up or moving suddenly. This is why balance testing is a common diagnostic tool to assess the seriousness of the injury and evaluate recovery time.
If you feel dizzy after a head trauma, make sure you don’t operate machinery or drive, because this can be dangerous both for you and other people. Dizziness can start suddenly and make it impossible to perform a variety of tasks, but it tends to decrease as you heal. [3, 4]
