A reddening or pinkish hue on the fleshy parts of the palms, termed palmar erythema, can be another subtle indicator of AIH. This discoloration is due to increased blood flow to the area, resulting from liver dysfunction.
While it might seem innocuous, this symptom, especially when found alongside others mentioned here, is significant. It’s the body’s way of signaling an internal disruption that needs attention.
