Given its location, a question arises. Does torus mandibularis impact oral health? The teeth and gums, particularly? The interplay is interesting.
In general, the growth doesn’t affect dental health. Teeth remain unaffected. Gums, too, go about their business as usual. The bony outgrowth doesn’t intrude.
However, oral hygiene practices might need tweaking. Especially if the growth is sizeable. Cleaning around it might require more attention.
