For the vast majority, removal isn’t necessary. But the question does arise. Especially if it causes discomfort or interferes with dental procedures.
Surgical removal is an option. However, it’s not commonly pursued. The procedure is straightforward but might not be needed for all.
It’s worth noting the growths often don’t return post-removal. But surgery has its own risks. Infections, pain, and recovery time are considerations.
