Symptom 7. Nausea: Not Just a Bad Stomach
Many of us have experienced nausea. These symptoms are often associated with stomach problems or general illness, but did you know they can also be signs of heart trouble? While these symptoms may not immediately seem connected to the heart, they can indicate an underlying heart condition when they occur along with other heart trouble symptoms.
In some heart-related cases, severe pressure or pain in the chest can lead to feelings of indigestion or nausea. Women, in particular, may experience these symptoms during a heart attack. Sometimes, these symptoms may even occur before any chest discomfort is felt.
Additionally, for those with heart failure, fluid buildup due to inefficient blood pumping can lead to the swelling of the digestive system or liver. This can create a feeling of fullness, often resulting in a significant loss of appetite. (7)
