7. Dizziness or Feeling Light-Headed
With heart diseases, fainting and dizziness can occur due to a reduced blood flow to the brain. If the heart stops working effectively as a pump – that is, delivering blood to every cell in our body and maintaining a normal level of blood pressure – the brain is the first to feel it. Lack of oxygen leads to malnutrition of brain tissues and a pre-fainting state. Dizziness and feeling light-headed are typical symptoms of a heart attack.
