8. Nausea, Vomiting, and Indigestion
We rarely associate abdominal pain with MI. However, bloating, nausea, vomiting and severe indigestion can all be signs of a cardiovascular problem. If there is any damage to the lower wall of the heart muscle, that’s located close to the diaphragm, it will show in abdominal symptoms.
How tell it from food poisoning, heartburn, or inflammation in the digestive system? Especially in women – statistics show that most women do not have any chest pain, but instead experience abdominal symptoms.
