Symptom 9: Weakness
Weakness or a sudden loss of strength is another symptom associated with angina pectoris. This isn’t a general feeling of tiredness after a hard day’s work but rather a significant decrease in physical strength that makes even simple tasks seem difficult.
When the heart struggles to pump blood effectively due to angina pectoris, it leads to poor circulation. This inadequate supply of oxygenated blood can cause the muscles to tire easily, leading to the feeling of weakness.
Again, this symptom, similar to some others we’ve discussed, is not exclusive to angina pectoris. Numerous health conditions, from viral infections to neurological disorders, can cause weakness. However, when coupled with symptoms like chest discomfort or shortness of breath, this weakness could be indicative of angina pectoris. (9)
