8. Sleep well.
Binge-watching the entire new season of your favorite show in a night and having only a couple of hours of sleep left? We all do it. But be careful: it has been proven that regular lack of sleep (sleeping less than five hours a day) is a major health risk. Lack of proper sleep reduces your body’s resistance to stress and provokes metabolic imbalance, which leads to gradual weight gain. However, sleeping more than nine hours a night can be as harmful as lack of sleep. So, an ideal sleep time depends on your age: it`s 7-9 hours for ages 18-64 and 7–8 hours for people over 64. Going to bed at the same time is also a very healthy habit.
