Symptom 8: Anxiety or Restlessness
Feelings of anxiety or restlessness could be potential symptoms of Ventricular Fibrillation. This is not the usual anxious feeling you might experience before a big event or exam. It’s a sudden, overwhelming sense of doom, an unshakeable feeling that something bad is about to happen.
You might also feel restless, unable to sit still, constantly feeling the need to move. This restlessness might also make it hard for you to focus or concentrate on tasks at hand. It’s a psychological manifestation of the physical condition, arising due to the heart’s impaired function and the subsequent effect on brain function.
Such unexplained, overwhelming anxiety or restlessness, especially when combined with other symptoms like chest discomfort or palpitations, requires immediate medical evaluation. It’s essential to take these feelings seriously and seek prompt medical help. (7)
