Shortness of breath, especially during activities that weren’t challenging before, or a noticeable wheezing can be signs of laryngeal cancer.
This symptom occurs as the tumor in the larynx grows, potentially obstructing the airway and making it harder to breathe. The change might start as an occasional feeling of breathlessness and progress to more constant difficulty, particularly with exertion.
