In dilated cardiomyopathy, the heart’s pumping ability is impaired, leading to fluid accumulation in various parts of the body. This fluid buildup can affect the digestive system, particularly the liver and intestines, leading to discomfort and feelings of fullness, which in turn can result in a decreased desire to eat.
