While warts can appear almost anywhere on the body, they have their favorites. Hands, fingers, and feet often bear the brunt of these growths.
Areas that are frequently exposed to moisture, trauma, or both, such as hands and feet, offer a conducive environment for warts to thrive.
The location can also determine the wart’s appearance. For instance, those on the soles of the feet (plantar warts) might grow inwards due to pressure, making them look flat. (7)
