Symptom 7. Aching or Burning Sensation in the Hand and Wrist

Another symptom of CTS is an aching or burning sensation in the hand and wrist. This discomfort can be exacerbated by activities that involve repetitive wrist movements or applying pressure to the palm.
The aching or burning sensation may be intermittent at first but may become more constant as the condition progresses. In some cases, the pain may even radiate up the arm, affecting the forearm and elbow.
If you’re experiencing persistent aching or burning in your hand and wrist, it’s essential to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the underlying cause and receive appropriate treatment. (6)
