Foods rich in amino acids (Tyrosine)
Tyrosine: this amino acid is a precursor of thyroid hormone and is part of their composition. Lack of tyrosine can cause hypothyroidism and the symptoms that go with it.
Tyrosine is found mainly in protein-rich foods such as:
- Bananas;
- Avocado;
- Almonds;
- Chocolate;
- Cheeses;
- Animal proteins (meat, fish, eggs, dairy products…);
- Algae such as spirulina;
